This is a brand new Dart billet Big Block Chevy block package with a brand new Callies Ultra Boost billet crankshaft. It is intended for high-end racing engine builds where strength, stability and component quality are critical.
The block is built with standard 4.840 inch Big Block Chevy bore spacing, 9.800 inch deck height and a 4.500 inch bore. It is a dry deck block with water, designed for demanding competition use where cylinder sealing, block rigidity and cooling layout are important parts of the engine combination.
The block is also equipped with a 60mm cam tunnel, +.400 inch raised cam location and 0.937 inch keyway lifter bushings. Please see the specification sheet for full details.
The included Callies Ultra Boost billet crankshaft has a 4.250 inch stroke and has been balanced to a 2396g bobweight. The crankshaft has also been machined for clearance with 6.280 inch connecting rods or longer.
