Where we come from

Fredrick Nilsten: “Our story begins with the name Blenco. It goes back to the 1950s when my great‑grandfather claimed it. Back then it had nothing to do with engines, but everything to do with craftsmanship, persistence and pride in doing things properly.

In 1985, my father brought the name into a small workshop where engines became the center of the work. Years later, when we teamed up as partners, we built on that foundation, combining heritage, experience and a shared passion for performance engines.

By 2010, Blenco AB took shape as the workshop me and Fredrik Nyholm run today: a place where heritage meets horsepower, and where we continue a legacy by adding our own chapter to it.”

what we do

Fredrik Nyholm: “We specialize in performance engines, in‑house machining and complete engine builds, American V8 engines that rumble with purpose. When we acquired machinery and expertise from Dixner, one of Stockholm’s largest and most respected engine rebuilding shops, it allowed us to create a fully equipped machining facility under one roof.

Today we focus on precision engine work, custom builds and performance parts. We don’t aim to be the fastest. We aim to be right. Every cut, every measurement, every component. That’s how engines last. That’s how trust is built.”

Who We Are

Fredrik Nyholm: ”Today the workshop is led by us. We’re a well-synced team of engine builders, machinists and problem‑solvers who care about the craft as much as the result. Together we build, machine and assemble engines with the kind of precision you can’t fake.

Fredrick Nilsten: ”We’ve grown quietly through reputation, honesty and engines that speak for themselves. No shortcuts. No guesswork. Just skilled hands, clear communication and a workshop built on passion and pride. This is who we are, and this is the engine shop we’re proud to build together.”
