Return & refunds
Last updated: March 12, 2026
Consumers purchasing from Blenco AB are protected under Swedish and EU consumer law, including the Distance and Off‑Premises Contracts Act, the Consumer Sales Act, and the Consumer Services Act. The following terms describe how returns, withdrawals, complaints, and refunds are handled.
Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have a 14‑day right of withdrawal starting the day after the product is received, as required by Swedish and EU law. During this period, the customer may examine the product to determine its nature and function, but may not use it.
If the product has been handled more than necessary, Blenco AB may deduct an amount corresponding to the product’s reduced value, in accordance with Consumer Agency's guidelines.
The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping unless otherwise agreed.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Special‑order items purchased specifically for the customer
- Custom‑made or modified products
- Electrical components with broken seals or signs of installation
- Installed or used parts
- Services that have been fully performed with the customer’s explicit consent
These exceptions follow the legal exemptions in Distance and Off‑Premises Contracts Act.
Condition of Returned Goods
Returned products must be in essentially unchanged condition, unused, and in their original packaging when reasonably possible. If the product has been handled beyond what is necessary to determine its characteristics or function, a value reduction may be applied.
A restocking fee may apply for opened or repackaged items, provided it reflects actual value loss.
Refunds
Refunds are issued within 14 days from the date the customer notifies Blenco AB of the withdrawal. However, the company may legally wait to issue the refund until:
- the product has been returned, or
- the customer provides proof that the product has been shipped back
Refunds include the original outbound shipping cost (standard delivery), as required by law. Return shipping costs are not refunded unless voluntarily offered.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method.
Complaints & Warranty
Under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act, consumers have the right to complain about defects for up to 3 years.
A product may be considered defective if:
- it does not match what was promised
- it does not function as expected
- it deviates from normal durability
Manufacturer warranties apply in addition to statutory rights.
Workshop & Machining Services
For machining and workshop services, the Swedish Consumer Services Act applies. Blenco AB performs all services professionally
and according to agreement. However, the company is not responsible for:
- pre‑existing damage, wear, cracks, or contamination
- performance outcomes or horsepower gains
- engine failure, tuning issues, or racing‑related damage
- results affected by customer‑supplied parts
These limitations are permitted under Swedish law, provided they do not limit liability for gross negligence.
